STEP 2 - CONTACT THE FOLLOWING ORGANISATIONS

• Contact your dog’s microchip company and inform them that your dog is missing.
  
  
• Contact your dog’s insurance company and inform them that your dog is missing. 
  Ask if they offer rewards for missing dogs as some insurance companies offer undisclosed sums. They may also pay for having posters printed and other related expenses. 
  
  
• Contact Surrey Heath Dog Collection service (formerly the Dog Warden) on 01276 707100.
  For Out of Hours call 01276 707182 - Press option for "Emergency" and you will be put through to the helpdesk who will take your details and pass them on to the Dog Collection Team.
  
  If you are on the border of Surrey Heath and live near another Borough, contact the dog warden or dog collection service for that Borough too. Find all the local contact numbers on our Dog Warden Services.pdf 
  
  Contact them each day your dog is missing - don’t rely on them to call you.
